A section of the path around Ogden Reservoir, on Noth Halifax, has been resurfaced, improving the accessibility.
Whilst we haven’t been able to view the work ourselves, we do have the following information from the Calderdale Countryside and Woodlands Team:
“We are delighted to say that the most degraded section of the footpath around the reservoir has now been resurfaced and is now open! Thanks to the Community Foundation for Calderdale for funding this work through the Ovenden Moor Windfarm Community Benefit Fund. This is the result of a successful application from the Friends of Calderdale’s Countryside to fund the work needed. The footpath is now accessible to everyone once more.”
