Free Inclusive Cycling Sessions – Ripon

Ripon is set to host a new Get Cycling North Yorkshire programme, with free inclusive cycling sessions at Jack Laugher Centre. These sessions are for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions or additional support needs who face barriers to cycling.
You don’t need to have cycled before, and you don’t need your own cycle. The organisers will have a range of specialist cycles available to try, including tricycles, recumbents, handcycles, tandems and wheelchair-accessible cycles. Their experienced team will help you find a cycle that works for you, make adjustments and build your confidence at your own pace. You can bring a family member, friend, carer or support worker too.
They’ll help you explore your options and take things at your own pace.
Date:
  • Thursday 12th November
  • Thursday 10th December
Choose from two one-hour sessions:
10:30 – 11:30 am
11:40 am – 12:40 pm
Venue: The Jack Laugher Centre, Dallamires Ln, Ripon HG4 1TT
Sessions take place in a safe, enclosed space and there is free on-site parking, including accessible parking. There is no charge to take part. Places are now open to book. If you’d like to try inclusive cycling in Ripon, they’d love to hear from you.
