Experience Community will be leading a Social Ramble around Temple Newsam on 25 July.
Their next ramble is at the stunning Temple Newsam estate -Temple Newsam boasts three lakes or ‘Menagerie Ponds’, each with a different feel. The lower lake is simply set in parkland; the middle lake which is the largest of the three is bordered by beds of damp loving perennials including candelabra primula and hostas. Cross the bridge and bear left to find the grass and bamboo garden bordering the small top lake, then follow the path as it rises towards the Walled Garden.
Meeting at – Temple Newsome lower carpark
There are multiple blue badge spaces – blue badge parking is free.
There are multiple accessible toilets on site
11.00 am meet-up for an 11:30 start
This will be a socially paced out and back ramble of around 3/4 hours long with opportunities to stop for a break or take photographs. They will stop to have a packed lunch so it is worth bringing food and drinks.
