On Saturday 27th April Experience Community will be doing a mountain trike ramble at Upper Derwent, which is relatively close to Sheffield/Glossop/Holmfirth. This is one of their longer rambles and has fantastic views right the way around the reservoir.
- Meeting at 11am at Fairholmes Car Park. Please make sure you put Fairholmes Car Park, Derwent Ln, Bamford, Hope Valley, S33 0AQ.
- Setting off at 11.30am. There are several accessible parking spaces and accessible toilets nearby.
This route will be around 10 Miles long and we would expect it to take around 5 hours, please come prepared for this. The weather can change very quickly, so please wear and bring appropriate clothing. You should also bring a packed lunch and drinks! People who use other types of off-road mobility equipment are welcome to join the ramble, however, the route has only been checked using a Mountain Trike and access cannot be guaranteed.
