Good Mood Funday is an event for adults with learning disabilities and will be taking place on September 17th.
It is run by Creative Minds, the NHS, and Huddersfield Giants.
It is a free event with a range of fun activities including football, cheerleading, dodgeball, rugby, cricket, and other sports day events. There will also be a health information stall.
Activities include summer sing along with Creative Minds, games with NHS learning disability staff, health information stall, and multisports with Huddersfield Giants Foundation (Accessible activities may include football, rugby, cheerleading, dodgeball, cricket, sports day themed games and multi-skill challenges)
When: 10.30-2pm Thursday 17th Sept 2026 (please arrive for 10.30am)
Where: The Zone, St Thomas Rd, Huddersfield, HD1 6PT (near John Smith’s Stadium/Huddersfield Town FC)
Plenty of free on site parking for minibuses. Reasonably priced café on site.
