Covid-19 Vaccination Advice To Government

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has published it’s advice on Covid-19 vaccination policy in autumn 2025 and spring 2026. (Note: The JCVI is an independent body and its advice does not automatically become policy).

The JCVI advises that vaccination should be offered to the following groups in autumn 2025 and spring 2026:

  • adults aged 75 years and over (see adult eligibility section below)
  • residents in a care home for older adults
  • individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the ‘immunosuppression’ sections of tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book)

Full details of their advice, to government, can be found here.
