Here’s an update from Disability Support Calderdale on their imminent closure:
Regrettably, due to the long-term staff sickness of two vastly experienced members of staff who cannot be easily replaced, we have decided to close down at the end of May 2026. This benefit project has been located at Lee Mount and more recently at Hebden Bridge and during this time we have supported thousands of people and have helped them with their financial and emotional issues.
One of our colleagues, former volunteer and worker Donna Ryan is in the process of starting a new benefit project based in the Upper Valley called Disability Empowerment Providers, email: info@the-dep.org.uk, and we wish her well with this new project.
