18 MAY – Hebden Bridge Disability Access Forum, HBDAF, monthly meeting third Monday of the month, every 2 months. Meetings for 2026 will be on Monday 18th May, Monday 20th July, Monday 21st September and Monday 16th November 2026.
Here’s what they say about the meetings:
We warmly welcome all d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people, and those with long-term health conditions. We also welcome non-disabled Associates to join to support us in our work of improving access to life in the Hebden Bridge area.
Good to know
This is a hybrid meeting, so you can join online or in the Terrace Room, Hebden Bridge Town Hall, at the same time. 2.30 to 4.30pm, with a 5 minute comfort break in the middle. You are welcome to join for all or part of the meeting, to suit your needs. Contact sechbdisabilityaccess@gmail.com for the zoom meeting link.
We need more members
We believe it’s really important to the local community that we continue our
work. HBDAF would really benefit from new members and contributions from local
disabled people. Please join us!
The Terrace Room is wheelchair accessible by a lift. It has good acoustics, an induction loop for hearing aids, and adjustable lighting. There is access to an outside terrace directly from the room. Accessible toilet on the same level. Drinking water available. Closed captions available on Zoom screens.
Please tell us if you have specific access needs, we try to accommodate everyone.
