West Yorkshire Police are reminding everyone that summer can see a rise in opportunist burglaries.
Here are their latest tips to help keep your home secure:
Use a doorbell camera or other CCTV and use any signage that come with it.
Mark your property and register it with Immobilise The National Property Register, for Phones, Gadgets, Bicycles & More…
Look after your neighbours, if you see anything suspicious, someone skulking around giving some excuse for being in a garden, report it.
Think about a chime to your door if someone opens it.
