Brighouse Group – Every Monday at Brighouse Rest Centre
from 12.30pm-2.30pm
Zoom Group – Every Tuesday via zoom at 11am to 12noon
Guide Dog Group– 3rd Wednesday of every month from
11am to 12noon.
Coffee and Chat Group– Every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm
Games Group – Every Thursday from 1am to 11.30am
Craft Group– 3rd Thursday of every month from 12.30pm to
2.30pm.
Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month for Games Group and Craft group with lunch for the bargain price of £5!
Inbetweeners Group– 4th Thursday of every month. Please note that over the winter period we will be changing the times to 5pm to 7pm.
Chairobics – Every Friday (hybrid) from 10am to 10.30am
Bowling Group– Every Friday at Electric Bowl, Halifax from 11am

Social Café/ Sight Centre– Our social café and sight centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm. Drop in and have a brew and a biscuit. A small donation is all we ask. Don’t forget we also have a front room set up with entertainment options for those with a visual impairment. If you want to know more, pop in for a chat, we would love to see you.
BlindSquare -We are pleased to announce that after partnering with BlindSquare, BlindSquare Event is now available for download within Halifax town centre with no charge! For those that have not heard of BlindSquare yet, Blindsquare is one of the leading navigational apps designed for people with a visual impairment.
BlindSquare have placed a radius around our building 7 Southgate, enabling any IOS user within the radius to download and use Blindsquare Event with no charge!
Downloading Blindsquare Event gives users the full experience of the paid version for 2 days. Once those 2 days end, if you access the app within the radius, you will be given another 2 days!

Bus Station Tours– As you may be aware the bus station is now in the process of re-opening. The Transport Accessibility Coordinator has offered to do a tour for our members. These will take place on Tuesday 24th October at 1pm and Friday 27th October at 11am. If you would like to take part in one of theses tours, then please book your place with the office on 01422 352383.

October LEO Group
On Thursday 19th October the LEO Group will be visiting Theo’s, a Greek and Mediterranean meze Bar. If you would like to come along and have any suggestions for a venue, please do let us know.
