For National Inclusion Week, Activity Alliance released two additional data reports on disabled people’s demographics and impairment types.

Celebrating 25 years as a national charity
On 7 September 2023 we marked our 25th anniversary as a national charity. There has been remarkable change over that quarter of a century, but our role as the leading voice for disabled people in sport and activity remains more necessary than ever before.

Get Out Get Active celebration: “Embrace the power of being active”
In October, Activity Alliance and partners will celebrate all things Get Out Get Active (GOGA). We will be celebrating the UK-wide GOGA programme that has reached an extraordinary 160,000 people since 2016.

Sport England launches Physical Literacy Consensus Statement
On 28 September, Sport England published the new Physical Literacy Consensus Statement for England at an event at the Royal Society of Arts in London. Our CEO, Adam Blaze, joined them and for a panel discussion, exploring the importance of physical literacy and how it influences people’s relationships with movement and physical activity.
