HSB News & Events
- Brighouse Group – Every Monday at Brighouse Rest Centre from 12.30pm-2.30pm.
- Zoomers – Every Tuesday via zoom at 11am-12noon.
- Coffee and Chat Group – Every Wednesday at HSB from 2pm-4pm.
- Guide Dog Group– 3rd Wednesday of every month from 11am to 12noon at HSB.
- Games Group– Every Thursday at HSB from 10am to 11.30am.
Come along and take part in their wide range of games, socialize and have some fun.
- Craft Group– 3rd Thursday of every month at HSB 12.30pm-2.30pm. This session we will be doing glass painting and creating a tealight each. Why not join us every 3rd Thursday for an all inclusive day of fun . You can join the Games Group and the Craft Group plus receive lunch and refreshments for the bargain price of £5.
- Inbetweeners Group– 4th Thursday of every month at HSB from 6pm-8pm. Come along socialize and share experiences with people of a working age.
- Chairobics – Every Friday (hybrid) 10am-10.30am.
- Bowling Group– Every Friday at Electric Bowl Halifax from 11am.
- Family Group– A group for children with a visual impairment under 11yrs and their parents/ grand parents or carers. Come along to meet new friends, socialise and have fun! The group will take place in Tuesday 1st August, Tuesday 15th August and 29th August at HSB from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
- Youth Group– For anyone with a visual impairment between the ages of 11 and 19 at HSB. Week one: Tues 25th July, 1.30pm— 3.30pm Games and Activities Week two: Tues 8th August 1.30pm-3.30pm. Week three: 10pin Bowling
- Technology Group– First Wednesday of every month from 11am to 12noon at HSB. This month Mark Silver form Optelec will be joining us and bringing along the latest range of portable electronic magnifiers and text-to-speech devices including Ruby, Compact, Amigo, Orcam and Smartreader products.
