An Anne Lister Birthday Week event – 30 March
The Minster is beautiful on its own, a place of worship for over 900 years. But what secrets lie in its baptismal font, memorials, and ledger stones? What stories can it tell of Anne Lister’s life? She rests here with so many of her contemporaries—and oh, the stories they can tell! There is no better guide to unlocking all of this than David Glover, president of the Halifax Antiquarian Society and a true Anne Lister aficionado. There is far more in here than you might ever imagine—if you truly want to know more about Anne, this is your tour! To book tickets click HERE!
The Minster is looking for “welcomers” to help keep the Minter open each day. Contact Andy Barber
