It’s normal to experience low mood, anxiety or stress, especially at this time of year, when the dark nights and poor weather have an impact on our social interactions and mood.
Talking to people is an important way of dealing with these things. Plan and make regular phone calls, instant message and text friends, family, neighbours and colleagues. Look out for others who might be enduring loneliness and isolation. Children should be encouraged to share their feelings too.
