The 2022 Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 List has been published. This is an annual recognition of the most influential disabled people, nominated by the public and judged by an independent panel. It celebrates the 100 role models, advocates, campaigners and change-makers across the UK.
Year on year the number of nominations grows as awareness of the Disability Power 100 grows. This has allowed them to increase the number of categories to fully reflect the breadth of talent nominated.
The majority of the judges are Disability Power 100 alumni and volunteer their time to read and qualify each entry.
It’s a fascinating document and an inspirational read with a good chunk of information on each of the nominees.
