Disability Support Calderdale have received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.
The charity will receive a glass crystal award, a framed certificate personally signed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 and
an invitation for two people to attend a Royal Garden Party in May 2023.
Disability Support Calderdale continued to work all throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, at all times using PPE and lateral flow tests to keep everyone safe as people still desperately needed their help.
A spokesperson for Disability Support Calderdale said “We are absolutely honoured and would like to thank all the people who supported us with the Queens Award for Voluntary Service assessment that enabled us to be successful, over the last year the number of people we support has increased by almost 50%.”
