New campaign to challenge negative attitudes towards disabled children
Activity Alliance is calling time on negative perceptions through our campaign, ‘Who says?’. The leading voice for disabled people in sport and activity wants disabled children and young people to have the same opportunities to be as active as their non-disabled peers.
Activity Alliance secures five years’ Sport England investment
Activity Alliance is among the first group of over 40 organisations working in partnership with Sport England to receive funding from its new funding model. Activity Alliance has a foundational role in the sport and physical activity sector and is therefore well placed to help level up access to sport and physical activity across the country.
Take part in our inclusive reopening project survey
Our most recent research project ‘Inclusive Reopening’ is well underway. Working with Britain Thinks, we are conducting a multi-phase research study. The goal is to explore how disabled people and people with health conditions interact with organised physical activity as we recover from the pandemic. If you are directly or indirectly involved in delivering organised activities to disabled people, we want to hear from you.
Run the TCS London Marathon 2022 for Activity Alliance
For a third successive year, the TCS London Marathon will once again take place in October. With the ballot officially closed, don’t be disappointed about missing out. We are looking for fundraisers to take up one of our guaranteed charity places and support us in achieving fairness for disabled people in sport and activity.
Activity Alliance is the operating name for the English Federation of Disability Sport.
