Have your Say: Take part in a new ethnic minority forum on the future of health & disability benefits

The Government’s Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) recently published Shaping Future Support: The Health and Disability Green Paper. This asked for views on how the Government can help people

  1. To live more independently
  2. To stay and succeed in work
  3. Ways we can improve the  benefits system for people

The formal consultation has now closed, but the DWP are still keen  to hear from people who use our services. This will  help them to make improvements, and to plan future changes

They know that people from ethnic minorities may have different experiences of their services and they have set up a new ethnic minority forum to help them to hear your views.

If you would like to be part of this forum, or to know more about it, please get in touch with the DWP direct by emailing them at disability.consultationevents@dwp.gov.uk including “ethnic minority forum” in the title.

The next meeting of the forum will be on Thursday, 27th January, 10.30am- 12.30pm.
