Research: Disabled People Struggle to Access Banks

Research conducted by Which?, having surveyed 1,500 disabled banking customers and spoken to members of the Disability Horizons community, has found that disabled customers are struggling to access banks due to branch closures and poor access to buildings, ATMs and online banking. Four in 10 (41%) disabled consumers are suffering as a result of bank branch closures, and one in ten (11%) said they find it ‘fairly’ or ‘very difficult’ to navigate their bank’s website.
