Halifax Society for the Blind Want To Know What Services You Need

This survey is being circulated by our friends at the Halifax Society for the Blind.

Dear Members, Supporters, Colleagues and Partners, we hope you are well, and getting some sunshine and feeling good about getting out and about.

Whilst you’re increasingly thinking of this, we’ve been putting together a survey for completion by local people with sight loss. As we start to try to open up our services once more, we want to find out what people who use our sight loss services feel is needed most. We’ll be calling around members and conducting this as a telephone survey, but wanted to offer the opportunity to complete this yourself.

They survey is on the Survey Monkey platform, which is reliably accessible to screen readers. You can go directly to this on the link below. Also, it would really help if you could let us know that you’ve completed independently, and we’ll make a note of it. This will help our wonderful staff and volunteer team call you unnecessarily to ask you to complete it again!

Our community, social supports, and indeed, the whole nation have been through the toughest of times in the last 18 months or so, so its important that we shape what we don next with your help. In that way, we’ll be able to return the favour by offering the most representative array of services for people with sight loss. We’ve already come a long way with input from our sight loss community – so let’s take the next step together. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call our office on 01422 352383.

Many thanks,

Pete Hoey (Chief Officer) and Sue Mort (Chair)
