Healthy Minds: June Courses & Sessions

Noticing Nature (Allotment)
Monday 14th June, 11.00-12.30pm
During such uncertain times, making time to relax and switch off from events out of our control has never been so important for mental health and wellbeing. Using our 5 senses and noticing check lists, this workshop will encourage us to connect with nature in the lovely
surroundings of Healthy Minds allotment. Drinks and snacks provided.

Setting Goals and Moving Forward (via Zoom)
Tuesday 15th June, 11-12.30pm
During lockdown you may have had the chance to think about new things you would like to try or achieve in your life when restrictions are lifted or you may feel that lockdown has made you retreat into your comfort zone and you can’t find any motivation to make change, whether it be to look for a new job, join a social group or take better care of your health to name a few. This workshop will give you the opportunity to talk about your goals with others and learn ways to break them down into small achievable steps as well as inspire each other!

An Introduction to Managing Anger and Frustration (via Zoom)
Monday28th June, 10.30-12.30
This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore our experience of personal anger and frustration and how we can work towards taking the first steps in learning to manage strong emotions, through discussion, learning from others and practical techniques.
