Active at Home Videos

Disability Rights UK’s Get Yourself Active team have been working together with Sense and Durham University on a research project. The aim of this project has been to find out how disabled people have been staying active during the coronavirus pandemic, and to find out what resources can help to stay active at home. They had 450 responses to the survey and interviewed 30 people to find out more detail about what individuals would like their resources to look like.

They are now using this research to co-produce accessible and inclusive pre-recorded videos using the experiences and feedback of disabled people and people with long term health conditions.

They will soon be kicking off our ‘Active at Home’ workouts with four series all led by different trainers and involving a variety of different activities, so it’s time to please subscribe to their new YouTube channel and stay tuned for updates!
