Care For Carers Campaign

Revitalise are a national charity providing respite holidays for disabled people and carers.
Earlier this week they launched their new #CareforCarers campaign. Here’s what they had to say about the campaign:

We know many of you have desperately struggled with isolation and reduced care throughout lockdown, and we also know that many carers are reaching breaking point, having had very little or no support.

The emergency Coronavirus Act has allowed Local Authorities to axe their duty of care responsibilities, and many families have been stripped of essential support at a time when it’s needed most.

What’s more, the government’s guidance on 14 days isolation is now preventing so many of you from accessing vital respite.

So we’re magnifying your voices and asking the Government for change. We are also hoping to raise £1 million to support you all in accessing respite.

Please help us to Care for Carers. Share this post, keep an eye on our campaign and spread the word, tell anyone that will listen. Join our #CareForCarers movement and let’s take action now. #TogetherWeCare
