ASDA and Marks and Spencer are just two of a growing number of big retailers who are introducing special cards which allow volunteers to buy food (and other goods) on behalf of isolating people. Below are links to these two schemes:
Asda Volunteer Card – https://cards.asda.com/volunteer Upload money onto a card online. This card can then be used by volunteers to shop at Asda for those who are self-isolating.
Marks & Spencer Volunteer Card Upload money onto a card online. This card can then be used by volunteers to shop at Marks & Spencer for those who are self-isolating.
