Children’s Mental Health Week is 3-9 February and is run by the children’s mental health charity Place2Be and focuses on the importance of looking after emotional wellbeing from an early age.
Did you know that 1 in 8 children and young people have a diagnosable mental health condition!
This year’s theme is ‘Find your Brave’; as we know bravery comes in all shapes and sizes and is different for everyone. Bravery can be about sharing worries and asking for help, trying something new or pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. Finding your Brave can build confidence, self-esteem and make you feel good about yourself.
There’s lots of useful information, plus suggestion on how you can spread the word on the website dedicated to the week: https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/
