How it works
They are open on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights from 6pm till late Contact Safespace for support by telephone on 01422 345154 or call / text on 07388 990227 Facebook: safespacecalderdale
The team will take some basic details from you and offer one or more options:
- 1: Face-to-face appointment – we’ll agree a time for you to arrive and a worker will be ready to see you
- 2: Telephone support – if you can’t come to the service, a worker will call you back. You can do this by text message if you prefer.
- 3: Online support via Facebook private messaging
- 4: Group area – a friendly, safe & supportive environment in which you can try different activities and chat with others if you wish
You can have up to an hour with a worker – whichever way you’ve contacted them – to talk through what’s happening for you and agree next steps. After one-to-one support, if you have come in person to Safespace, you can stay for a while in the group area until you feel ready to go home.
