Disability Partnership Calderdale’s 2019 AGM centred on the organisation’s trustees’ report on the 12 months up to the end of March 2019.
Highlights of the report included the securing of three years’ funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, which in turn has allowed the organisation to employ three paid workers from June 2019. Another funding success, this time with the Community Foundation for Calderdale, led to the launch of a joint “Accessible Calderdale” project, run in partnership with the recipients of the funding, Visits Unlimited. Disability Partnership Calderdale also held a range of meetings during the year, for members, trustees and with outside organisations such as Calderdale CCG, Citizens’ Advice, the Police and Calderdale Council, amongst others.
