Based in the centre of Halifax, Eclipse Energy are specialists in energy efficient home improvements for properties across West Yorkshire. Over the past 24 months, Eclipse have been working on government schemes to secure funding for Calderdale residents to improve their homes with a free boiler and underfloor insulation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This project forms part of the Government funded ECO 3 SCHEME, with local authorities and major energy providers working together to reduce energy emissions and heating bills across the country.
DO YOU QUALIFY FOR A FREE BOILER AND HOME INSULATION?
Due to many homes not meeting current regulations regarding energy efficiency guidelines, Eclipse Energy are currently installing 100% FREE A-Rated Boilers in Calderdale.
WHY A FREE BOILER?
Boilers account for around 60% of the cost of your heating bill in a year. Upgrading to an A-rated, energy efficient boiler can save you as much as £600 per year on your heating bill if you live in a detached property.
HOW DO I QUALIFY?
To qualify for this funding, you must meet three different criteria;
1. You must own your own home
2. Your existing boiler must be 7 years old or older
3. You are in receipt of one of the following benefits;
Disability Living Allowance
Carers Allowance
Attendance Allowance
Child Tax Credits
Working Tax Credits
Child Benefits
Pension Credits
Income-Related ESA
Income-Related JSA
Universal Credit
If you meet all three of these requirements, it’s very likely that you will qualify.
