It’s the final couple of weeks of our For King and Country exhibition, which closes on December 22nd. This is your last chance to come and see our award-winning commemorative exhibition exploring local stories and experiences of the Great War.
Bankfield’s Christmas Craft Fair
Saturday 8th December is Bankfield Museum’s Christmas Craft Fair, where a variety of local crafts and produce will be on sale. Come along between 10am and 4pm and pick up your Christmas gifts, or a treat for yourself. Find out more
Calderdale Open 2018
The annual Calerdale Open exhibition of works by local artists is on display until January 19th 2019. Come and see the prize winning entries and cast your vote to decide who should win the People’s Prize!
Anne Lister of Shibden Hall
Filming of the new BBC drama Gentleman Jack about Anne Lister (1791-1840) is now complete! Look out for the airing of the programme in 2019. In the meantime you can find out more about Anne in our new publication available to buy online here or at Bankfield Museum.
