Dangerous defects in roads and pavements can be all the more worrying for disabled people. Here’s how to report one to Calderdale Council:
During evenings, weekends and bank holidays please report any dangerous issues by telephoning 01422 288000.
You can assist the Council to do this by providing as much of the following information as possible:
- Accurate location. Most importantly the road names. Plus, is there a near by landmark, lamp column or house number? Is the defect in the road or pavement?
- Description of the defect, for example, large pot-hole in the road.
- Your details including a daytime contact number where possible.
