Access to care services

If you are finding it increasingly difficult to manage simple tasks at home due to failing health, age or disability, you may be eligible for help.

Combined sight and hearing loss

Information and services available for those who have both sight and hearing impairments.

Concessionary bus and train pass

If you have a physical disability or visual impairment, you may be entitled to a travel pass. The pass permits free or reduced rate travel in West Yorkshire; some concessions are available throughout England.

Direct payments

The Direct Payments Scheme is a way for people to purchase their own Care Services giving individuals more choice and control.

Hearing impairment

Adults, Health and Social Care provides a service to children, young people and adults with hearing impairments who live in Calderdale.
